" Two Serving Corps Members To Wed"

This weekend, the wedding bells will be ringing and nothing will stop it, even COVID-19 –as two National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) Members, Elizabeth Ngunan Kumaand Abang Valentine Bisong, will be tying the knob.

The two Corps Members who are currently serving at the Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH, Calabar, have set Saturday May 23, 2020, as their wedding day.

We learnt that the prospective couples are: Bride, from Yarv Mbadeda, Yandev in Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State and Groom, from Idum-Mbube in Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State, respectively.

The wedding will be taking place on Saturday, May 23, 2020 by 9:00am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Akim Navy Barracks, with reception at Calabar Sports Club, Calabar Municipality Local Government Area of Cross River State.

In an exclusive interview, the groom to be, Valentine said he met his heartthrob, Elizabeth while in service. “We met in September, last year and I proposed to her in December, same year and she said YES“

He said if the lockdown is not relax before the D-day, they plan of a low key marriage in the chapel.

Just like the challenges facing any Corps Member, Elizabeth and Valentine will be needing support in the form of cash (money) and jobs from individuals, State and Federal Governments respectively to start their beautiful journey as wedded couples and full blown graduates.
